• February 28, 2009, Frank Lal Perera [Founder of ECS], had the vision for a great need for the people of Northern Sri Lanka while at a gathering with a group of friends he decided to collect items to be sent to the internally displaced people. Two months after that, the events unfolding in Sri Lanka made him start Operation Reunite along with his family [Srini, Jeneeka, and Niminde]. With the help of many generous friends and a group of dedicated volunteer students from Chaminade High School in West Hills, CA, USA we were able to accomplish this mission and will be sending all collected items to IDP Camps in Northern Sri Lanka.
